Coming from a background as a sales rep for several different steel companies, Brandon was able to retake control of his time by becoming a Franchise Owner with Screenmobile. Now, he has the perfect work/life balance he has always been searching for. He officially opened his franchise with us in October 2018 and has been loving it ever since! Brandon recently met with our team for an interview, discussing what he has enjoyed most during the past year of owning a mobile franchise with us. What are you most proud of achieving during the past year?
Over the past year, I’m most proud of all the enclosures that I’ve done, the retractables, and just the really good reviews that we’ve gotten from satisfied customers.

What was the biggest surprise this year?
I think it would have to be the number of customers that were wanting porch enclosures or something done with a screen. Also, how hard yet rewarding and satisfying it is owning your own business.

What is your favorite memory from the past year?
I don’t think I would narrow it down to one. Every time that we finish an enclosure and see how happy the customers are with it, it’s very memorable.

What advice would you give to yourself a year ago?
I would say, keep up with the bookwork (and I still don’t do a good job at that). That’s the most difficult part of owning a mobile franchise with Screenmobile.

How would you describe your job to a kid?
I would say that I put the final bling on a house that makes it look good and makes you enjoy being outdoors.

When do you have the most fun?
I would say that it would be meeting all of the interesting characters out here and just talking with the customers and finding out what their backgrounds are. Also, becoming friends with the customers. That’s pretty fun.

On a scale of 1 – 10 how happy are you?
I’m probably a 10. That’s because I can control my own life, my schedule, and not miss out on anything that we have going on with our family.
